Under the current national lockdown, holidays in the UK are not allowed, meaning overnight stays are only permitted for specific reasons. if you comply with these rules and need to book an overnight stay, please see our FAQ’s  for further information.

Nettlecombe Farm is a working farm nestled in the heart of the rolling Isle of Wight countryside and offers luxury self catering accommodation. Situated at the top of a quiet lane  just half a mile from the village of Whitwell, it is an ideal spot to unwind and an excellent base from which to explore the Island. Visitor are welcome to explore the farm and meet the animals, which include chickens, geese, pigs, goats, rabbits, alpacas reindeer, donkeys and many more.  There are three fishing lakes that guests can take advantage of.  For children there is a range of grassed play areas, toddlers play equipment, a big Wendy house, wooden tractor, climbing play facility and sports area.

Wheat is a converted farmhouse property, all on one level on the first floor, sleeps up to 8 in three bedrooms (one king size double, one double and one with bunk beds) with stunning views of the lakes and surrounding area. Forge is a converted blacksmith forge on the ground floor, sleeps up to 3 in two bedrooms (double and a single). both properties have open plan lounge / kitchen / dining and bathroom with bath, shower and WC.  Fully fitted kitchens.  TV with DVD player. Bed linen is included. Gas and electricity is included in Forge. No gas in Wheat and electricity is by coin meter. Chldren of all ages welcome. Car parking available. Pets accepted by prior arrangement - charge applies.

***Nettlecombe Farm offer some fantastic activities available to guests and visitors including:

Yoga & Pilates - Residential retreats and weekly classes in the purpose built studio on the farm. Under floor heating allows for the perfect environment for your practice. 

Massage Therapy- Friday evenings and Saturday mornings are the time to relax at the farm with a range of massage treatments available. 

Feeding Time - A unique and exciting opportunity for kids to get involved with farm life! Between May - October the children can try their hand at being a farmer and experience feeding & meeting a range of animals including lambs, alpacas and goats.

Open: all year  |  Minimum number of nights: 1 starting on any day except during peak dates when it is 7. Wheat is available for 7 night stays starting on a Saturday. Forge is available for 7 night stays starting on a Friday
