Isle of Wight Festival - Goodbye tent, Hello cosy bed

It’s the official month of festival preparation, only a month to go and everything is well and truly underway. The tickets are starting to fly through our letterboxes, the body glitter is on order, the wellies are on standby and this year the hunt for gold accessories is top priority!

It’s no secret that half of us merry festival goers enjoy the true festival experience including camping, glamping and a queue for the loo! Never having to leave the site and 24/7 festival fever takes over, fabulous! However, it’s also no secret that the other half of us are not massive fans of the great tent hunt and lack of memory foam mattress! ... it’s perfectly acceptable either way, but if you’re not overly thrilled with the idea of camping do not fear, Red Funnel still has plenty of accommodation providers that can give you a bed to help you recharge every night! Here are just a select few that would love to have you!

# The Garret

First up we have The Garret, a tastefully converted apartment that sits in the grounds of the country house Lyon Court in Shanklin. This self-contained apartment has everything you need for your festival weekend including access to a heated swimming pool – bonus. It’s bright, beautiful and a bus ride away from the festival – sounds pretty good to us and we know you’ll love it! A perfect camping alternative!

# Flat 1 Lyon Court

Lyon Court also has an apartment (Flat 1) that’s available festival weekend! It’s gorgeous, bright and airy and can sleep up to 6 people!

# Firefly House

Next is Firefly House, we figured if you’re here for four days, may as well make it a week, right? Get some exploring in and give yourself some time to recover from the amazing weekend! This charming Victorian house is ideal for groups as it can sleep up to 8 people, it’s a stunningly renovated property in the heart of Cowes – so not too far from the festival, perfect!

# The Belmont Hotel

If you’re thinking that you might like to wake up to breakfast prepared for you while you take a nice hot shower and get ready for another round of festival, look no further! The Belmont Hotel in Shanklin can make you feel right at home and just a bus ride away from the festival site!

# Foxhills

If you’re really looking for luxury, why not book yourself into Foxhills. This 5* guest house is just a bus ride from the festival site and gives you everything you need! A comfortable mattress, a hearty full English and even grab yourself some health and beauty treatments or use the whirl pool – nice!

So now you’ve got the accommodation sorted, the tickets in your hand and the glitter on your face, there is nothing left to do but wish you all a fantastic festival!
