Nominations announced for MyIsleofWight Awards 2014
02-03-2015 The nominations for Red Funnel’s myisleofwight Awards have been revealed, following the announcement that a record 33,832 votes were cast.
The awards, which are now in their third year, aim to showcase the best of the Island’s tourism industry and were voted for by people who visited the Isle of Wight throughout 2014.
The nominations for 26 awards cover each tourism sector, including accommodation, attractions and food and drink.
Jonathan Green, marketing and communications director for Red Funnel, said: “It’s a pleasure to reveal the nominations for the awards, as each one is a fantastic Island business. It’s a real testament to hard work put in by the local companies who deliver excellent experiences, and we’re very proud to recognise this by supporting the awards.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Northwood House in Cowes on 19 March, where Kevin George, CEO of Red Funnel, will present them with a handmade Glory Art Glass trophy.
