Watercolours 'could be an attraction' for island visitors

Visitors to the Isle of Wight keen to showcase their artistic flair are invited to head along to a special day-long course that will teach them all about the wonders of watercolours.

Organised by the talented Diana Beverly, adults hoping to extend their understanding of painting are being urged to sign up to what will hopefully be a fun-packed day of improving their skills and learning more about this art form.

The event is taking place on February 2nd at Green Buoy Arts in Cowes and will kick off at 10:00 and run through until 16:00 GMT.

Availability is limited and fees for the session will be £50, and as a result interested parties are being urged to act fast to secure their place by contacting the arts centre over the coming days.

Meanwhile, island visitors hoping to enjoy some classic old school harmonies are encouraged to head to the Medina Theatre on May 17th, where quartet Blake will be performing for a packed house. The Isle of Wight County Press reports the group are currently promoting their fourth album Start Over.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801528274-ADNFCR
