Midnight Eucharist in Newport

If you're planning to stay on the Isle of Wight this Christmas, you should really consider attending the Midnight Eucharist in the town of Newport - whether or not you are of a religious persuasion.

This special event is always held on Christmas Eve to welcome in Christmas Day and is taking place at The Minster in St Thomas' Square from 11.30pm.

It's a very atmospheric event that is the perfect way to begin Christmas Day and is a time for both reflection and celebration.

If you've got children, it's also a great opportunity to remind them about the more traditional aspects of the festive season before the advent of computer games, and encourage them to think giving and sharing during Christmas.

It will also no doubt tire them out - perfect ahead of the arrival of Father Christmas. Who knows, you might even get a lie in!ADNFCR-3083-ID-801668826-ADNFCR
