JB Priestley's son to share memories on Isle of Wight

Fans of classic plays and literature might be tempted to head to the Isle of Wight later this year to learn more about JB Priestley.

The famous author, who died in 1984, was responsible for lots of well-known works including An Inspector Calls, The Good Companions and Jenny Villiers.

Priestley's son Tom came to the Isle of Wight last year to share insights and memories of his late father with fans of his work.

He has now scheduled a return trip on May 8th, when he will hold another informal evening which includes the showing of a specially-made film.

The event takes place at Seely Hall in Brook and will last for two hours.

Although Priestley was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, he lived on the Isle of Wight between 1933 and 1959.

Tickets for the evening will cost £2.50 and must be booked in advance by ringing 07784733920 or by emailing brookvillagehistory@yahoo.co.uk.
