Isle of Wight gig to be 'exhilarating'

Music fans on Isle of Wight holidays have been advised to head over to the Solent Inn in Ryde tonight (February 18th) to see The Almighty Chancers perform.

The five-piece, who all hail from the island, will be taking to the stage for the penultimate gig of their Isle of Strut Tour.

According to VentnorBlog, the event promises to be an "exhilarating night of live music" and entrance is free.

It stated: "If you love live music and you haven't seen The Chancers play before, change all plans you had for tomorrow night."

The Chancers regularly invite guest musicians to perform with them and have a reputation for creating great nights out.

Among the artists cited as favourites by the band on their Facebook page are acts as diverse as Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and Frank Zappa.

The band have had some impressive support slots in the past, including the Scratch Perverts & Cuban Brothers and New Master Sounds.
