Don't miss Wizard Week on the Isle of Wight

Now that the autumn weather is firmly upon us and October is drawing closer, it is time to start thinking about how you're going to celebrate Halloween.

It may be more than a month away yet, but if you're hoping to go on holiday around the time of October 31st then it is a good idea to see what's going on around the country first, as this could influence your decision.

For a fun, family-friendly event that's taking place during half term, why not book tickets to Wizard Week at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway?

This way, the Halloween celebrations don't just last for one day, they go on for five, with activities kicking off on October 28th and running until November 1st.

Your little ones will have the time of their life at Wizard Week, where there'll be magic shows, steam train rides, owls and birds of prey and an enchanting woodland walk.

They'll also be able to spend the whole week dressed up as witches, wizards and other Halloween characters, with prizes on offer for the best costumes.

Enter the Havenstreet Haunted Manor, where you'll see owls flying overhead. There are two versions of this activity, one for adults and older children and another for smaller kids.

You can also take part in Halloween crafts, plus a treasure hunt will take place and on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, you can meet the 'Bat-Man' and his bats.

Tickets - which include steam train rides - cost £10.50 for adults and for children between the ages of five and 15, passes are £5.50, while infants under four will receive free entry. You could also purchase a family ticket, which is priced at £26.50 and covers admission for two adults and two children.

Other perks of the week include free parking, refreshments available all day and a shop, so what are you waiting for? Plan your Halloween adventure on the Isle of Wight today.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801638509-ADNFCR
