Check out nature exhibition during Isle of Wight holiday

Nature lovers could be tempted to book Isle of Wight holidays in order to attend a special exhibition that is set to open on the island shortly.

Quay Arts in Newport will be hosting Birds and Beasts: Peter Slight and Sarah Shaw from July 30th to September 10th.

The family-based event will provide fun for kids and adults alike, with a mixture of different types of art to be displayed at the Rope Store Gallery in the venue.

According to the organisers of the exhibition, this will include "mixed media models, paper engineering pictures and embellished photographs".

All of the works set to be displayed during the event are "inspired" by British wildlife and nature.

Quay Arts is famous for hosting a range of live events on the Isle of Wight, as well as its regular art and photographic exhibitions.

It also hosts open-mic comedy once a month.
