Isle of Wight holiday home 'has views of Freshwater Bay'
Mon 6 Sep 2010
Tourists who are booking a stay at an Isle of Wight holiday home can look forward to an isolated location and a view of Freshwater Bay.
According to journalist at the Mirror Jane Kerr, Gotten Manor offers families a three-bedroom retreat for their time on the island.
She wrote that she used the spot as a base for exploring the Isle of Wight and explained that the Tennyson Trail was one of her favourite destinations, noting that it was named after the poet as he wrote many of his most-famous works after wandering the island.
"From here we drove to the bustling harbour at Yarmouth and spent an hour strolling along the pier and exploring its pretty tangle of streets," added Ms Kerr.
She also recommended those booking Isle of Wight holidays to factor in trips to Osborne House and Mottistone Manor Garden during their break.
The latter venue is open until October 28th 2010, with a traditional tea garden singled out among its most-loved attractions.
