Zoe Ball issues Isle of Wight Festival fashion tips

Zoe Ball has handed out some fashion advice to those who are getting ready to go to the Isle of Wight Festival next weekend.

At least 50,000 revellers will be travelling to the island in the coming days to see acts such as Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Speaking to Grazia, Ball gave some tips to those who are not sure what clothes to pack for the event, with "a good cape" recommended as one of the must-have items for the festival.

Ball, who lives with DJ Norman Cook, added that wet wipes are another item revellers will need to survive the weekend.

The presenter stated glitter eyeliner pens are a good purchase for females who want to stand out from the crowd and look glamorous for the festivities.

She stated the best thing about the Isle of Wight Festival is the rock acts that dominate the bill, citing shows by the likes of Foo Fighters as previous highlights of the event.

"I saw Pearl Jam at Brixton Academy 20 years ago, I'm going to go crackers when they play Saturday night, hold me back," Ball said, adding she also wants to see Springsteen, whose nickname is The Boss.

Music lovers preparing for the Isle of Wight Festival will be able to head to a dance tent at the event for the first time this weekend, with acts such as Tom the Hat and DJ Nipsy set to take to the decks, along with Born Ina Barn, The Playground Syndicate and Atomic Jukebox.

"I can't wait to see Playground Syndicate causing mayhem and see what the festival crowd makes of Born Ina Barn live!" said Headfunk's Tom 'The Hat' Blackwell.

Other acts on the bill for the Isle of Wight Festival include Elbow and Lana Del Rey.
