Isle of Wight to host Abba tribute

Fans of the music of Abba will be able to attend a tribute celebrating the pop act as part of their Isle of Wight holiday this summer.

Osborne House will play host to a variety of West End stars for the show, which is set to take place on July 23rd 2010, reports the Isle of Wight County Press.

A full symphony orchestra, backed by singers such as Dean Collinson, Emma Kershaw and Lance Ellington will perform the band's hits, including Mamma Mia, The Winner Takes It All, Thank You for the Music and Dancing Queen.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will be staying on the Isle of Wight to perform the following night for The Last Night of the Osborne Proms.

Tourists taking Isle of Wight holidays to coincide with the Abba show can spend their day at Osborne House before the show, with the Victorian Walled Garden a particular highlight of the former holiday home of Queen Victoria.
