Visit the Electric Woods this weekend before it closes!

Robin Hill’s popular The Electric Woods: Lost Before Time will be shutting up shop for the winter soon, so make the most of this weekend, when you’ll still be able to visit.

Between 2pm and 9pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am and 5pm on Sunday, you’ll be able to travel back in time and explore the stunning ancient woodlands at the adventure park and gardens as they would have been during the age of the dinosaur.

Following the Jurassic Trail, you’re liable to run into all sorts of creatures long thought extinct, while there are also accompanying lights and sounds to really set the scene. Heading through these magnificent woodlands as dusk falls, you’ll also be able to see amazing birds of prey, while live acoustic sets will be performed at the woodland ponds from approximately 6pm.

If you’re staying late, you’ll also be able to enjoy Robin Hill’s exciting rides and attractions, while there will be illuminated play areas for younger children. The adults can enjoy a hot mulled cider, as well as plenty of seasonal drinks and hot snacks for all the family.

Once darkness descends, there’s also the Electric Woods Cinema, which offers a great way to cap off the day. If you wish to take the dinosaur trail, you’ll need to book ahead. And as the park advises, make sure to stay close to your tour guide at all times, or you may end up as a tasty treat for one of the more ferocious dinosaurs on the trail.

As the head Jurassic Trail guide said: “It seems most visitors have survived the tour, but high levels of aggression displayed by the T-rex in the ‘egg enclosure’ have led to a small amount of fatalities… Regretfully mostly younger participants…”

Remember you have been warned! If you remain unperturbed, off peak entry to the park costs £12.50 for those aged four to 59, while under fours go free and concessions are at £10.50 A four-person family ticket can be purchased for £45 off-peak.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801655975-ADNFCR
