Head to this year's Jaguar Classic Car Show

Petrol heads should head along to a spectacle of fine classic vehicles at this year's Jaguar Classic Car Show.

Organised by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club Isle of Wight Region and held at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway on August 4th, the event promises to be a fantastic day out for all those who have engine oil running through their veins, as it features a range of luxurious marques.

It will open to the public from 10:00 BST and an array of rare British models of yesteryear will be on display, ranging from classic Jaguars through to Bentleys and many more vehicles besides.

Furthermore, there will be entertainment for all the family, with live music from The In Crowd, Rattle Shakin Daddies and the Medina Marching Band, as well as a host of stalls and stands to have visitors of all ages enthralled.

Wight Falconry will be in attendance putting on a number of expert avian shows throughout the day, while contemporary dancers Dance Vibez will also be performing to wow the expectant crowds with their innovative style and impressive moves.

A bouncy castle and giant slide will also be erected to offer parents a chance to let their young ones run wild.

Admission will cost £4.00 for adults, while children will be able to get in for free. In addition, visitors to the show might also like to head off on one of the many steam railway journeys on offer from the venue, with tickets for these services ranging from £10.50 for adults through to £5.50 for kids.

The five-mile route runs from Smallbrook Junction through Ashey and Havenstreet to Wootton, giving visitors the chance to sit back, relax and soak up the experience of travelling on a traditional steam locomotive through some of the most picturesque landscapes of the island.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801606718-ADNFCR
