Black Cat opens up for annual art day

The Isle of Wight's own Black Cat Art Group will be opening its doors to all art enthusiasts next week as part of its annual Open Day and Sale of Work.

Head down to the Methodist Church Hall on Regent Street in Shanklin on Tuesday November 12th between the hours of 1:30pm and 4pm to see if you can take a fantastic piece of artwork by a local artist home, to remind you of your trip to the isle.

Members of the Black Cat Art Group paint with a variety of mediums, from pastels and silk painting to watercolour and acrylic, with their numerous subjects including animals, boats and local scenes.

Visitors are welcome to come into the church to watch the artists at work, chat to them about their creations and ask them questions about their inspiration. The event is free to enter and there will be plenty of artwork available for sale.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801657273-ADNFCR
