Be a bird on the Isle of Wight

Kids and adults alike will have the opportunity to find out what it's like to be a bird on the Isle of Wight this spring - a particularly busy time for our feathered friends as they get ready for the summer months.

At Spring into Life: Being a Bird at Newtown, a National Trust event taking place in April at the Newtown National Nature Reserve, visitors will have the chance to build their own nests and learn to identify different birdsong.

There will be a two-hour walk around the reserve itself where you'll possibly see and certainly hear some of the specimens that call it 'home'.

The event runs from April 16th until the 18th and pre-booking on the National Trust's website is necessary as places tend to fill up quickly. It's free to participate and the meeting point is the visitor car park for the venue, which is very simple to find.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801698205-ADNFCR
