Bestival announces latest additions

The latest additions to this year's tenth anniversary Bestival line-up have been announced by festival organiser Rob da Bank.

He noted: "Besti regulars Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, Dub Pistols and Mr Pete Tong plus a load of first-timers are all queuing up to pop their Bestival cherry. Not long now people!"

Simian Mobile Disco, chart-topper John Newman, Skinny Lipster, electro dance group Dream Koala, rock-electronica group Mixhell, Stockholm-based quartet Kate Boy and pop singer Zhala will all be performing on the many stages of this year's event.

Lovesick,ComfyPorn DJs, Dan Hayes, Propaganda DJs and Across The Tracks DJs will also be taking to the decks to spin records for the expectant crowds across the weekend in the festival's dance tent.

Meanwhile, a whole new experience is being opened up to Bestival partygoers in 2013 in the form of the Temple Island.

"Never looking backwards and always embracing the future, I'm so proud to unveil Temple Island - a brand new totally ace fusion of styles from festivals like Burning Man and Spain's Monegros festi," Rob da Bank stated.

It will feature an array of some of the biggest dancefloor acts in the world, including Henry Krinkle, Chrome Sparks, DJ Falcon, London Grammar, T.Williams, Karma Kid and more.

Set to take place from September 5th to 8th at Robin Hill Country Park, this year's festival promises to be one of the biggest and best to date.

Tickets are still available and will cost £190 for a full weekend adult pass from Thursday evening and £180 from Friday. Teens aged 13 to 17 can get in for £127, while children aged 12 and under can gain entry for free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Headline acts at this year's festival will include Elton John, MIA, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips, Franz Ferdinand and a special performance from Fatboy Slim. It promises to be an epic weekend for lovers of musical diversity.ADNFCR-3083-ID-801620561-ADNFCR
