Lots of Fun for Kids
At Red Funnel Ferries, we'd like to make the ferry journey to the Isle of Wight as much fun as possible for kids, whilst at the same time being relaxing and effortless for parents.
We have lots of things to keep the kids entertained, including downloadable colouring-in sheets which can be found on this page, kid's meals, visits to the bridge (subject to availability & approval), and children's entertainment during selected weekend and school holiday sailings.

Ship's Bridge Visits
Visits to the Bridge offer an exciting opportunity for kids to meet the Captain and to see how the boat is controlled.
Bridge visit availability is limited and is subject to the Captain's approval based on safety and weather factors. Visits will be available on a first-come first-served basis and can be requested once onboard the vessel.
Kids' Entertainment
On selected sailings throughtout the holiday periods, staff from the Isle of Wight Zoo will be onboard the Red Funnel car ferries to entertain children with a variety of activities including face-painting and bugs to learn about.
There will be a magician on-hand on to keep the kids amused and amazed. Again, these are on selected sailings at weekends and throughout the Summer Holidays.
Kids' Food
On all Red Funnel car ferries, we offer a range of kid's meals in our onboard cafe/restaurant ReFuel. The menus vary but always on offer are a variety of kids' favourites.
