A. West Cowes. Red Funnel's vehicle ferry service goes to East Cowes. You can either walk between East and West Cowes using the Floating Bridge (12 minutes) or take a water taxi (5 minutes).
A. Triangle car park ? 150 yards from Terminal 2. It is pay and display.
A. There is some pre-bookable disabled car parking at West Cowes but the nearest public car park is at Northwood 200 yds up the hill on the Newport Road.
A. You should arrive 10-12 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Note: To guarantee a seat on some peak sailings you should arrive up to 20 minutes before departure.
A. Only if over 13 years of age.
A. Yes
A. Yes - you can purchase through rail and coach tickets to any mainland destination. Railcards can also be purchased and railcard discounts apply to fares.
A. The Hi-Speed service is turn-up-and-go and it is not possible to pre-book. If you are travelling with a large group (20 or more) we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance of travel.
A. Yes ? join the Island Club and purchase one of the several different season tickets that are available. See separate leaflet.
A. Students living on the Isle of Wight can purchase Island Club student season tickets.
A. Yes ? but these are only available from the Island. We also have special senior citizen offers from time to time.
A. No ? unfortunately due to a shortage of space such facilities are not available.
A. Yes - you need a £1 coin which is returned after use

A. Not on the Hi-Speed service. Cycle racks are available at Terminal 2 in Southampton and at West Cowes. Cycles can be carried free of charge on the vehicle ferry service.
A. No you must purchase a ticket in advance (Season Tickets) or from the Ticket Office at the time of travel. You will be asked to show your ticket on boarding.
A. Yes ? but you will have to pay a surcharge at the Ticket Office prior to boarding. Note some tickets cannot be upgraded - please enquire at the ticket office.
A. Animals in a cage travel free but there is a charge for dogs. They are prohibited from occupying a seat.
A. No - Unfortunately there is not sufficient space
A. A drinks service is provided at your seat from late morning until late evening. There is also a daily newspaper library (Monday-Friday) featuring the main broadsheet and tabloid titles.
A. There are, but these are for crew use only.
A. No - safety regulations insist that all passengers remain seated in designated areas whilst underway.
A. Not generally - but there is no harm in asking when onboard!

A. On Red Jet 3 the safety announcement is in video format. We do play video's onboard during events like Cowes Week and PR trips.

A. There are taxi ranks outside Terminal 2 at Southampton and in Fountain Yard at West Cowes.
A. The free CityLink and CityLoop buses stop directly outside Terminal 2 in Southampton and link with the rail station and coach station. Other stops include the City Centre, West Quay, The Quays and Leisure World. The Southern Vectis 91X service to Newport stops outside the West Cowes Ticket Office in Fountain Yard. Other buses serving West Cowes stop outside the Co-op (short walk). West Cowes ticket office sell Adult and Child Rover tickets.
A. No ? but all major debit/credit cards can be used to purchase tickets.
A. The nearest in Southampton is Below Bar in the High Street - 12 minute walk (Lloyds TSB, HSBC, Nat West, Barclays, RBS, Bank of Scotland). In West Cowes, all the major banks can be found in the High Street (2 minutes walk).
A. There are BT pay phones in Terminal 2, Southampton and just outside the terminal at West Cowes.
