FOOD FOR THOUGHT, Bembridge (01983 873555), a friendly, busy deli whose owner’s husband has a boat called The Snowman which fishes for lobsters (£8 upwards, by weight) off the Ledge in Bembridge Harbour. Call ahead for seafood platters (from £20, minimum two people) or for packed picnic hampers filled with the food of your choice (from £20 plus alcohol and a £5 deposit for the basket).
