Appuldurcombe Holiday Cottages

The holiday cottages are set in the 300 acre grounds of the majestic Appuldurcombe Estate (designed by Capability Brown) with wonderful views across the surrounding countryside. The stone cottages are individually styled and picturesque, situated in an idyllic setting, conveniently close to the beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin. The estate also has its own Owl & Falconry Centre, (April – September inc), stately home and beautiful grounds - free entry to both are included. Accommodation: There are 7 cottages providing a range of accommodation, sleeping between 2 - 9 people. All have cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, Large screen TV, DVD and video players, heating, bathroom and/or shower room. Some have dishwasher, washer/dryer, barbecue. The Freemantle Lodge, a very pretty listed cottage, originally the gatehouse for the estate, sleeps up to 5 adults and 2 children. The Old Farm House - 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8 people and has a sheltered walled garden with barbecue.

Facilities: Bed linen available for hire. All cottages have car parking available. Children of all ages welcome.

Open: Short break packages - can include a day or weekend of falconry in the Spring or Autumn. Smoking is not permitted in any of the cottages. Open all year. Pets not accepted.
