Location Guide
With the exception of Newport, the Island's capital, the Isle of Wight's main towns are set in coastal locations.
If you are looking for a traditional seaside family holiday with golden beaches, consider Ryde, Sandown or Shanklin.
Bembridge and Seaview are pretty coastal towns off the beaten track whilst Ventnor has its own micro climate and a chic style all of its own.
If sailing is your thing, Cowes and to a lesser extent Yarmouth, is the place to be. For a cosy holiday cottage in a tranquil rural setting, head in-land to one of the many tiny villages or hamlets.
