Isle of Pink 2010
Red Funnel is proud to support Breast Cancer Campaign's Isle of Pink returning to the Isle of Wight for the third year running this September.
Breast Cancer Campaign is aiming to make the event even bigger and better than before with as much of the Island as possible being given a splash of pink.
Throughout the month there will be a host of fundraising events as well as collections in local shops and supermarkets and you can show your support by donating or buying a unique 'Isle of Pink' ribbon pin badge launched this year.
To mark the end of the month there will be Pink Aerobics led by top Island fitness instructors held at Carisbrooke High School in Newport. The session is held on Sunday 26 September and features two hours of pink dance and fitness.
Breast Cancer Campaign is urging as many volunteers as possible to get involved in the event by joining Team Pink and helping to raise a record-breaking total. With many ways to get involved from distributing leaflets to collecting at the supermarket, there's something for everyone.
You can also show your support by making a text donation. Text PINK to 70099 to make a £2 donation today. Text messages cost £2 plus one message at your standard network rate. Breast Cancer Campaign will receive a minimum of £1.76 from each message sent. (£1.48 from Virgin Mobile users).
