Getting in early on the Christmas Fayre front are the Priory Bay Hotel, who are hosting one this Saturday November 19th between 12 noon and 3pm, with proceeds to St Catherine’s School in Ventnor.
St Catherine’s is a national charity working with children and young people with speech, language and communication impairments, who list among their patrons Rob Da Bank and Christopher Biggins.
Stalls will be selling local goods such as scarves, jewellery, chocolates, cupcakes, beauty products and photography – unique gifts handcrafted by Islanders and one of the stalls will be run by St Catherine’s School.
Light lunches and afternoon teas will be available at this lovely country house hotel, although booking is advisable. These can be taken in the restaurant or in the comfortable lounge with its eclectic range of snuggly sofas around the roaring fire – if it’s cold enough to warrant lighting it of course.
The Priory Bay Hotel is down a long driveway that leads from the St Helen’s end of Eddington Road and you veer off to the left through the pillars after about 500 yards.
