This summer sees a new event hit the Isle of Wight with a bill full of excitement and energy. ‘Legends in the Park’ will take place at St Georges Park football ground, Newport, on July 16th with headliners The Fun Lovin’ Criminals set to amaze the crowd on their first visit to the Island.

Tickets are on sale now priced at just £25 for this full day of music legends from the past, and some sure to attain legendary status in the future.

Designed to appeal to all ages and priced accordingly, this event will have a genuinely boutique feel, and offers a chance to get up-close and personal with some truly prestigious acts.

Run from the Isle of Wight for the Isle of Wight, Legends in the Park promises to become a permanent fixture of the Island’s musical calendar, so take your chance to be there at the beginning of a new event, sure to become legendary in its own right.

The Fun Lovin’ Criminals exploded onto the scene in 1996 with their breakthrough album ‘Come Find Yourself’ which featured the hits ‘Scooby Snacks’ and ‘The Fun Lovin’ Criminal’, and have been a regular feature of the charts ever since, most recently with their album ‘Classic Fantastic’ in 2010.

Also on the bill will be pop sensation the one and only Chesney Hawkes, famous for a stunning live show highlighting so much more than his best known hit ‘The One and Only’.

Welsh rappers Goldie Lookin’ Chain, who are returning to the Island after an incredibly well-received festival appearance, add an early ‘noughties’ feel to the day, with hits including ‘Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do’.

Making a very welcome return to the Island are ‘legends of the future’ The Foxes, tipped by the NME as future stars and ‘sure to be a chart hit’ according to The Sun. Their debut album is due for release this summer.

Completing the bill are Council Estate Supermodels and Vanzatti, two Island acts hotly tipped for big things in the future.

With another major act to be announced in the coming weeks, the £25 ticket price represents the best value for money possible. Get your tickets now before it’s too late.
