All aboard the worlds smallest paddle steamer
Join PS Monarch, the worlds smallest commercially operated paddle steamer for a relaxing cruise along the tranquil River Medina between the ancient ports of Cowes and Newport. With her bright red funnel and black top PS Monarch resembles the much bigger steamers that Red Funnel operated until the mid 1950's. Sadly today there are only 3 genuine working paddle steamers left in the UK.
With space for just 12 guests, cruises operate between April and October and last for approx 1 hour. It is a great opportunity to see rare and abundant wildlife and learn about the fascinating history of the river from a real steamboat.
