Llama Treks
Llama Trekking on the Isle of Wight
If you adore animals and enjoy walking in beautiful surroundings then you'll love trekking on the Isle of Wight in the company of your very own llama. So what are llamas you may ask? They are docile pack animals distantly related to camels and were first domesticated by the people of the Andes for transporting goods up and down treacherous mountain terrain.
Wight Llama Treks
Based in Brighstone, Wight Llama Treks organise treks in the chalk downs of the West Wight which are great fun and offer breathtaking views of the Island, The Needles and the open sea.
You will walk your llama on a rein in a group of up to four at a casual pace with treks lasting between 1½ to 2½ hours. As well as enjoying the company of a furry friend, the longer trek includes a stop for coffee and homemade cakes.
Wight Llama Treks also offer a 1½ hour trek at sunset with a glass of champagne included in the price - the perfect end to a romantic day. Wight Llamas are extremely docile and have been specially trained, they will even carry your pack!
