Robin Hill Country Park
About Robin Hill Country Park
With some incredible day and night time experiences to be found throughout the year, Robin Hill, including the ‘electric woods’, really is the destination for visitors of all ages looking for outdoor fun, adventure and great family experiences.
The Island’s favourite award-winning country attraction, set in 88 acres of rolling woodland and downland, boasts a whole day of entertainment for the whole family. With great rides – including the quarter mile downhill toboggan - amazing falconry displays and adventure play for fun loving families and children, plus relaxing woodland gardens, ponds and walks for discerning adults to enjoy.
Plus with late night openings during the summer holidays and the spectacular ‘electric woods’ evening events in October, the park really does lend itself to multiple visits throughout the season.
Robin Hill Country Park is taking ‘adventure’ to dizzying new heights with the opening of its new Canopy Skywalk. Set high up in the tree top canopy, the Skywalk stretches over 100 metres long, weaving its way through the natural landscape above the trees - oak, silver birch, ash, chestnut - reaching 10 metres in height at the central viewing gallery, which commands an amazing birds-eye view of the ancient woodland and beyond.
With integrated metal grating carefully placed into the walkway, visitors can conquer their vertigo whilst experiencing the thrill of viewing the vast forest floor many metres beneath their feet – and for the younger ones, the Canopy Skywalk links with the Squirrel Tower for even more fun and adventure!
Visitors really should look out for the opportunity to visit Robin Hill at night when the spectacular ‘electric woods’ events take place in February (Spirit of the Orient) and October (Festival of Light). Experience Robin Hill’s glorious woodland transformed into a stunning spectacle of creatively themed light, colour, sound and entertainment, for the whole family to enjoy. This October, as darkness falls, visitors can experience the lush colours, flavours and magic of the Asian sub-continent as the ‘electric woods’ celebrates the ‘Festival of Light’ and captures the spirit of the most popular festival in the Indian calendar. During October half term, Robin Hill also opens during the day from 10am until late for visitors to enjoy amazing days and stunning evenings too.Buy tickets...
