Dimbola Lodge
The former Freshwater home of famous Victorian portrait photographer, Julia Margaret Cameron. Named after her family's tea estates in Sri Lanka, Dimbola Lodge is now a museum to Cameron's life & work but hosts many events & exhibitions from other artists.
Permanent exhibitions include The Isle of Wight Pop Festivals Past and Present, Julia Margaret Cameron - Famous Men and Fair Women & The Albert Louis Cotton Album. The garden at Dimbola Lodge is also home to a life-sized bronze statue of the legendary rock guitarist Jimi Hendrix. The J M Cameron Trust is supported by Red Funnel.
