Tickets to see Madness + special guests are available now for an outdoor concert on Sun 30 August at Carisbrooke Castle Fields, Nr Newport, Isle of Wight. Gates open 3pm.
Supporting Madness are Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band, Gentleman's Dub Club, Sawdust Caesars and DJ sets from Jerry Dammers of The Specials.
How to get there
- On Foot: from Town Quay in Southampton, take Red Funnel's Red Jet Hi-Speed service to West Cowes (23 minute crossing). A connecting bus (service 1) will take you to Newport bus station with connections (service 6, 7 or 11) to Carisbrooke.
- Vehicle: Make a booking for your car on Red Funnel's service from Southampton to East Cowes. Carisbrooke Castle (PO30 1XY) is 1.5 miles SW of Newport and 7.8 miles from East Cowes, allow 20 mins.
Tickets
Tickets are £43.50 each including booking fees and secure postage. They can be purchased from Red Funnel's Vehicle Ferry terminals Southampton T1 and East Cowes Ticket offices from Tues 25 Aug. Disabled: Only available from SEE TICKETS. One carer to go FREE for every disabled ticket purchased. Wristband to be collected on site on 30 Aug. Refunds: No refunds (except in exceptional circumstances - at promoter's discretion). Concessions: No concessions available. Purchasing limit: 6 per household. Postage: Tickets will be sent by registered post approximately 8 days prior to the event. Cancellation: In the unlikely event, refunds will be available from the point of purchase (face value - excluding booking fees and postage). Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable. Madness admission tickets
(and foot passenger ferry tickets if applicable) will be posted to your nominated address at least 8 days prior to the event using Royal Mail registered post (if you purchased tickets up until 24 Aug 2009 your tickets will still be sent registered). If booking your car, an eTicket will be sent by email for the ferry element only.
