The Isle of Wight has a vibrant cricket scene; most of the towns and villages have their own clubs with over 40 teams playing regularly throughout the season.

Football
There are several football clubs on the Isle of Wight, most notably Newport FC, Cowes Sports FC and West Wight FC. The Isle of Wight FA is part of the wider Hampshire FA organises Cup competitions for all Adult member clubs of the Isle of Wight Saturday Leagues.
Isle of Wight FASpeedway
Speedway racing provides an exciting spectacle as riders race each other around a dirt track without brakes!
Isle of Wight Speedway takes place every Tuesday evening from April to September at 7.30pm at Smallbrook Stadium in Ryde.
Ice Hockey
Ice hockey is a fast and exciting sport to watch and is a very popular spectator sport on the Isle of Wight.
Ice hockey matches take place at Planet Ice in Ryde Arena every Saturday and Sunday.
