Service operating status

There are lots of ways you can keep up-to-date with the very latest service operating information from Red Funnel. We use a traffic light scheme [green|amber|red] to indicate the current service status.

The status is published on Red Funnel's main website, our mobile optimised website and on tv screens across all our terminals and even on screens belonging to our travel partners like Southampton Airport.

There are also other ways of receiving service alerts and ferry travel information - we've listed them below:

SMS Travel Alerts

Foot passengers who are members of My Red Funnel can subscribe (its free) for SMS alerts (they're also free!) which can be configured by route, by direction, by day of the week and by time band to closely match their travel patterns. Sign-up for SMS Alerts or visit www.redfunnel.co.uk using an iPhone, Blackberry or Android device.

Note: Customers who have a vehicle booking on a disrupted or cancelled sailing will be notified automatically by SMS, email or phone (if provided at the time of booking).
