Red Jet Tickets

Foot passenger tickets can be purchased online or from the Ticket Office at Southampton (Terminal 2) or West Cowes, either in advance of travel or on the day of departure. Please allow extra time to purchase tickets if travelling Mon-Fri at peak times.

Please note: it's a turn-up-and-go service and it is not possible to pre-book. Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible fare paying adult.

Combined Red Jet/Rail Tickets

From West Cowes: You can purchase through Red Jet/rail tickets to any station on the UK rail network from Red Funnel's West Cowes Ticket Office. Tickets include Travel Cards for London Bus & Underground services and all tickets are gate friendly. Computerised seat reservations are also available.

From UK rail station: All rail stations (including some ticket machines) can sell tickets to Cowes West which include the Red Jet fare.

Online: Trainline and raileasy sell tickets via their websites to West Cowes from any mainland rail station.

Combined Red Jet/National Express Coach Tickets

Red Funnel hopes to offer National Express through ticketing in spring 2009

Check In

• There is no official check-in time but it is advisable to arrive at least 12 minutes before departure to allow time to purchase a ticket. At peak times (17:00-18:00 Mon-Fri ex Southampton and 07:30-08:30 Mon-Fri ex West Cowes) please arrive a little earlier to ensure you catch your intended sailing.
• Boarding normally commences 5-7 minutes prior to departure via the covered passenger walkway. Valid tickets must be presented to a member of staff on boarding - please note it is not possible to buy tickets onboard.
