Red Jet Hi-Speed Service - Fares & Offers to the Isle of Wight

The Red Jet Hi-Speed service speeds between Southampton and West Cowes in just 23 minutes. Check out the superb savings when travelling off-peak and the special discounted rates for families and small groups.

  • Infants (0-4 yrs) travel FREE and do not require a ticket, but must be in the care of a fare paying adult.
  • Dogs are charged £3.30 Single and £6.60 Day/Period Return, no other discounts applicable.  Guide and Assistance Dogs travel free of charge.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible fare paying adult
  • All prices shown are in £GBP
  • Red Funnel reserve the right to amend or withdraw these fares at anytime

* Off-Peak fares: valid for outward departure from Southampton Monday to Friday after 1800 hrs and at anytime on weekends, return journey from West Cowes must be from 0915 on weekdays or anytime at weekends. Senior Citizens can travel from 0915 hrs Monday to Friday from Southampton or West Cowes and anytime at weekends. Group and Family Fares are valid from 0915 hrs from Southampton Monday to Friday and anytime on weekends.  Not available for adults or children travelling from Southampton on 9 & 10 June, 30 July to 7 August (excludes Family Day Return) and 9 & 10 September 2010. Not  available for adults or children travelling from West Cowes on 14 June and 13 September 2010.

† Family Day Return: Party must contain 3 or 4 people. At least one person must be an adult/senior and one person must be a child/infant. Valid from 0915 hrs from Southampton Monday to Friday and anytime on weekends. Party must travel together in both directions. Not available for travel from Southampton on 10 & 11 June and 9 & 10 September 2010. Not available for travel from West Cowes on 14 June and 13 September 2010.

Escorted Child Offer: Applies to adults who are dropping-off or collecting a child in Southampton. Purchase one adult day return or adult off-peak day return and receive one FREE single child ticket which can be used for the outward OR return leg of the journey. The adult must return on the next available sailing. If an adult is travelling with more than one child, additional child tickets are available at the normal single rate. 

‡ Group fares: Applies to groups of at least 4 adults or 4 children travelling together in both directions.Valid from 0915 hrs from Southampton Monday to Friday (excluding sailings between 17.15 and 18.15 Mon -Fri only) and anytime on weekends. Not available for travel from Southampton on 10 & 11 June, 30 July to 7 August and 11 & 12 September 2009.  Not available for travel from West Cowes on 14 June, and 15 September 2010.
