For customers with special requirements

The Hi-Speed passenger service between Southampton and West Cowes is non-bookable. If you need to purchase a ticket please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your intended sailing at peak times (0715-0915 hrs, 1615-1815 hrs).

The Red Jets aircraft-style accommodation makes them less suitable for wheelchair access, so the actual number of wheelchair users permitted on a sailing is at the discretion of the Commander. All access to the Terminals and the Red Jets is via ramps.

Safety instructions are broadcast over the vessel's public address system and Red Jet 3 & 4 also have a video system which broadcasts a safety video (with subtitles) at the beginning of each journey. All Red Jets have safety instruction cards in each seat pocket which show how to wear a lifejacket and the location of the emergency exists.
