Red Funnel's Customer Satisfaction

In 2014, we changed the methodology and introduced a continuous independent review system using Feefo's online platform. Customers using our Southampton<>East Cowes service are sent an email and are asked to rate Red Funnel's overall service and to score the sailings on which they travelled. Excellent service from start to finish. Easy to book online, and everything clearly marked at passenger ports.
Great info by text before each journey, on time in fact we managed to catch an earlier crossing.
Very efficient and seamlessly moved to earlier ferry in both directions which was much appreciated
Its a very long time since my husband and I went on a ferry, and we are now both in our seventies. Everything went very smoothly, from checking the car in at Southampton, the ferry then over to East Cowes, was very smooth and enjoyable,

We enjoyed travelling with you to the island. Your staff were polite, helpful and above all professional. Your facilities on board met all our needs and it was so nice to have the offer of hot freshly cooked food. The house keeping was good with our food trays cleared away promptly and not at the end of the voyage. The toilets were clean considering the amount of use they get. All in all an excellant trip and you impressed my American relatives who expect high levels of service. Well done.

Everything went to time. On the way out we arrived early so they put us on the earlier boat. We bought tickets for Osborne House, which were handed to us when we checked in without having to ask. The journey both ways was good.
The staff were friendly, everything ran smoothly and the journey was enjoyable.
We arrived early in order to be loaded amongst the first so we could get a seat at the front of the ship as I suffer from motion sickness which is helped by being able to look forward to the horizon. We explained this when we arrived and booked in. The lane we were allocated to was not loaded first but was actually loaded nearly last and so no forward facing seats at the front were available. Consequently we had a poor crossing coping with motion sickness. We are disappointed to have been treated so shoddily after asking for help and will be trying your competitors when we next cross to the island.
