Red Funnel's Customer Satisfaction

In 2014, we changed the methodology and introduced a continuous independent review system using Feefo's online platform. Customers using our Southampton<>East Cowes service are sent an email and are asked to rate Red Funnel's overall service and to score the sailings on which they travelled. Very good service we are obviously limited for service providers when we travel to and from the IOW but at the moment RED FUNNEL are the best option in my opinion.

In the 4 plus years plus that i have been using your service i have not had reason to complain apart from the escalating cost especially for us who live on the island Last saturday i had a distressing experience in that i was informed by e mail of an alteration to my booking from 10.30 to 15.00 due to a breakdown of one of your ferries. Normally of a weekend if going to the mainland i would use red jet however on this occasion my wife and i were going on a short cruise from southampton which departed at 16.00. After much anguish and shouting at your office staff we were squeezed on to a 9.00 sailing which can only be discribed as uncomfortedly over crowded.

Arrived earlier than expected and got onto an earlier boat without fuss. Bit pricy though considering the short crossing time.

After coming a long distance and arriving early we were turned away with a pretty abrupt attitude twice and told to leave with no suggestions as to where to wait once on board the gents toilet was closed causing a cue for disabled a man with he's young daughter was trying to take her to the toilet ending up sending her into the ladies on her own we could hear her crying for her daddy luckily a lady passages cleared the ladies so her father could deal with her
