Red Funnel's Customer Satisfaction

In 2014, we changed the methodology and introduced a continuous independent review system using Feefo's online platform. Customers using our Southampton<>East Cowes service are sent an email and are asked to rate Red Funnel's overall service and to score the sailings on which they travelled. When we went to pay for our lunch the computer system went wrong and the poor member of staff was left unable to process payment. He did the best he could under the circumstances. He had very little room to work and I don't know what back-up he had in terms of IT help. It must have been quite stressful for him with a queue building up and the system not working but he remained calm and dealt with the situation well.

We have found that the cost of our ferry travel with Red Funnel has increased a fair amount since our trip last year.

Those staff dealing with customers, either entering or leaving the ferry and on board as well, were efficient and customer-focused.

Good service, staff polite, would use again and recommend to others.

Difficult to understand why period return is more expensive than day return for same times etc.
prices seem to be getting more expensive.

Red Funnel travel is a top quality travel service,
I think they have really got it right now, it's on time ferrys and a really friendly staff. It is now far superior to any other form of cross Solent travel.

easy to book and check in. Loaded no problem both ways and sailed bang on time. ships are very clean and well looked after. Top marks all round.
