Red Funnel's Customer Satisfaction

In 2014, we changed the methodology and introduced a continuous independent review system using Feefo's online platform. Customers using our Southampton<>East Cowes service are sent an email and are asked to rate Red Funnel's overall service and to score the sailings on which they travelled. Excellent customer service. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help. Only downside was the price of food and drink on board.

I have been on your ferries a number of times since moving to the I.O.W. and had a good experience but this last trip returning home I was very disappointed with my main meal. I have had the fish and chips on a regular basis and was looking forward to my lunch but the fish was very disappointing it was two thirds batter and one third fish and I thought £8 plus was to expensive for what I had. I would normally have given 5 stars but that reduce it to 3.

Fast and efficient checking in at the terminal.
Comfortable seating areas on the ferries that have had refits.
Hopefully all the fleet will get a make over eventually

Booking, check-in, on-board staff all excellent. Punctuality very good. best and cheapest crossing. Bizarre loading/unloading process - early to check-in, in first 15 on upper car deck, directed to starboard side = second to last off!

Good - Friendly staff, good food. Not so good - both ferries very cold. Also, coming back on Red Eagle I could not hear the tannoy announcements from where I was sitting.

Had to change ticket when plans suddenly changed, excellent customer service both on the telephone and having to buy replacement tickets, machines had gone down in the terminal but we were promptly informed, great journey across, Red Funnel you are providing an excellent service from and to the island thank you.
