Red Funnel announces loyalty scheme
My Red Funnel Rewards launches 21 September 2015
07-08-2015 Isle of Wight specialist, Red Funnel Ferries is delighted to announce the launch of My Red Funnel Rewards, an exciting new loyalty scheme designed to benefit both new and existing cross-Solent travellers who use the company’s services.
In what is a first for the cross-Solent market, private customers will be able to earn 4 points for every £1 spent on all foot passenger tickets including Red Jet, vehicle bookings and food and beverage purchases. Earned points, each worth 1p can be used to part-pay or saved to fully pay for food and beverages, passenger tickets and future vehicle bookings.
As an additional benefit which is exclusive to Isle of Wight residents, My Red Funnel Rewards Plus will award 5 points for every £1 spent in recognition that Island residents generally travel more frequently and spend a higher proportion of their income on travel.
For example: An Island resident who spends a notional £500 on ferry travel/catering will earn 2,500 points worth £25 which can be put towards food and beverage purchases or future ferry trips.
Red Funnel’s Season Ticket and Saver Ticket holders will also earn points when renewing their tickets and Travel Card holders who already enjoy discounts of up to 20% will earn points when making vehicle bookings, purchasing passenger tickets or buying food and drinks.

We are particularly pleased to offer ‘My Red Funnel Rewards Plus’ for Isle of Wight residents who make more journeys, often for reasons of necessity rather than for a holiday.”
Members of My Red Funnel Rewards will be able to manage their account online when it launches on 21st September 2015. In the meantime, all new and existing My Red Funnel members who sign up to join the loyalty scheme from Friday 7th August can earn points on new private vehicle bookings made online and also on season ticket purchases and renewals.
What’s more, to celebrate the launch of My Red Funnel Rewards, Red Funnel is giving away £20,000 worth of points which will be divided equally amongst cross-Solent travellers who sign-up for the new scheme before the end of August 2015.

My Red Funnel Rewards is open to private customers who book or purchase direct from Red Funnel. Points can only be earned from and redeemed against Red Funnel’s own products and services but not those sold on behalf of third-parties (e.g. accommodation, rail, coach & bus tickets and event & attraction tickets). The scheme excludes credit account, direct debit, coach and commercial customers and bookings for vans over 5.5m in length or 2m in height.
My Red Funnel Rewards Plus – in addition to the above, members must have a registered Isle of Wight address which will be used in all correspondence.
The £20,000 points give-away applies to members of the public who register for My Red Funnel Rewards (or Rewards Plus) between 7 and 31 August 2015. Entry is free of charge with no purchase necessary. 2,000,000 points (each worth £0.01) will be divided equally between the number of people who sign up during this period. The allocated points will appear on customer statements from 21 September and will be available for use thereafter.
