Red Funnel are operating two QE2 Farewell Cruises on Tue 11 November. Red Falcon will depart from East Cowes at 1800 hrs and Red Eagle will leave Southampton at 1845 hours. Both Cruises are now SOLD OUT.
Both cruises offer a fun filled evening and will witness the final departure from Southampton of the most famous serving liner in the world, Cunard's Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2). Destined to become a hotel and shopping venue at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the QE2 will be given a massive send-off on Tue 11 November 2008 and this is your chance to be part of this historic occasion.
Launched by the Queen in 1967, the QE2 has a colourful history carrying over 2.5 million passengers and completing 25 world cruises and more than 800 transatlantic crossings since her maiden voyage in 1969. She also served as a troop ship in the Falklands war in 1982.

- 2000 QE2 departs for Dubai preceeded by Red Falcon
- 2130 Red Falcon arrives back at East Cowes
Please note: all the above timings are subject to change. Red Falcon will not berth in Southampton during the cruise.
Red Eagle Cruise Itinerary - starts from Southampton (SOLD OUT)
- 1810 boarding of Red Eagle commences at Terminal 1, Royal Pier Southampton
- 1845 Red Eagle Farewell Cruise departs berth
- 1915 QE2 Departs berth for Middle Swinging Ground (off Mayflower Park)
- 1940 Giant Firework Display
- 2000 QE2 departs for Dubai preceeded by Red Eagle
- 2130 (approx) Red Eagle sails past QE2 as she leaves the Solent
- 2235 Red Eagle arrives back at Terminal 1, Royal Pier Southampton
Please note: all the above timings are subject to change. Red Eagle will not call at East Cowes during the cruise.

Tickets, FREE drinks voucher and parking passes (if purchased) will be sent by post towards the end of October. Tickets are non-refundable. Infants (0-4 yrs) are FREE must be in possession of a valid ticket obtained from the ticket office at Terminal 1 or East Cowes prior to boarding. Standard Terms & Conditions of Travel apply.
The 2245 Red Jet departure from Terminal 2, Southampton will be delayed to allow any guests on the Red Eagle cruise to return to West Cowes.
