Business Southampton QE2 Farewell Cruises - 11 November 2008
Business Southampton would like to invite you to join in the celebrations as the world’s most famous serving liner, Cunard's Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) sails out of Southampton for the final time. Destined to become a hotel and shopping venue at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the QE2 will be given a massive send-off on Tuesday 11 November 2008 and this is your chance to be part of this historic occasion.
As a City Champion, Red Funnel have teamed up with Business Southampton to offer two exclusive opportunities for guests to join in the celebrations onboard Red Jet 4. An afternoon cruise will take place from 1.30-3.30pm and will provide a unique opportunity to sail past the famous liner in daylight. The evening cruise will take place from 7.00-9.00pm and will allow you to view the spectacular farewell fireworks from the water as the QE2 sails out for the last time. Both trips will include a selection of drinks and light refreshments along with open viewing from the top deck of Red Jet 4 (weather permitting).
How to buy tickets?
- Just select the number of tickets you require for each cruise and click 'Add'. Then go to the shopping basket on the orange header bar to view the basket check-out and pay.
- You will receive a confirmation by email. Tickets and joining instructions will be despatched by Business Southampton prior to the event.
